Matched my dining table well.Easy assembly. Super tight fit with fasteners though.Got it “used” glad I did because it only had minor damage. Looked liked a wood repair in a couple small areas.

Great desk but read the directions carefully!
Desk came in great shape. Looks great after being assembled. After reading reviews of the item delivering with broken pieces, I was cautious but hoped for the best. Looks like it worked out! There is a disclaimer about the middle drawer opening lever that you should be aware NOT to open it without "activating the switch", otherwise it will tear the screws. We didn't know and it did infact tear the hardware off, but we used a couple of the backup longer screws and got it back in place. Didn't take a photo of it since it got resolved. Definitely read the directions first, though!!

I love simplihome!
I love this desk!! It is great quality, very functional, and a good size for being a wall desk. Overall, it was pretty easy to put together.

Good, but some flaws
Very easy to assemble. The desk is very spacious, and the legs have small feet that can be adjusted to balance the desk on an uneven surface. However, there are a couple issues. First, my desk had a manufacturing defect: a hole for an alignment peg was not drilled properly, and was only about half the depth needed. I had to drill it deeper myself so that the peg would fit.Second, the keyboard tray is very close to the desk. There is only about 4cm (barely 1.5 in) between the keyboard tray and the underside of the desk. This is very narrow, and will not be enough space for many keyboards, or even larger mice. I'll have to leave the tray out permanently to use it. The space should be doubled to be truly useful. This is very disappointing, as the fact that it had a keyboard tray is one of the reasons I bought this desk. Finally, the desk surface is not as thick as it appears in the pictures. It is actually about half the thickness of the edges, with a few wooden "cross-braces" to reinforce it. This will limit the sturdiness if you're going to put significant weight on it (though on the plus-side, it is lighter than I expected, making it much easier to move).

Beautiful desk though quality control needs to be improved!
2-2-21 (update):Changing to one star. Top veneer already scraping off; can easily be removed with your nail it has held up so poorly. Drawer also seizes up and refuses to go back when pulled out. Avoid like the plague. Pretty but a giant headache!Original review:This desk is beautiful. Matches the pictures exactly, and is solid wood throughout (not plywood as indicated per AMZ). Setup is very straight forward; all items well labeled and requires simply attaching the legs and hardware. Front drawer tray works well, but the internal little drawer slides on wood thus is not as smooth as I'd prefer (vs. being on a roller). Now onto the cons... Absolutely avoid buying direct from Simpli-Home; absurdly poor. I paid more to find a shipped/sold by Amazon product and glad I did. Item arrived with a warp in the pull out tray (see picture). Amazon promptly fixed, per usual, which makes that sour experience less annoying in the end.Barring the aforementioned issues, had the desk been without said problem it would be a near perfect desk. Would not hesitate to buy again so long as you heed my words about buying sold/shipped by AMZ. Cheers!

Frustrating waste of time - could be nice if didn't ship broken
Pros: solid wood, looks good, easy to assemble (in theory)Cons:- Ships broken- Manufacturer can't help you with replacement parts- If you order a second one, it will ship broken as well- If you order a second one, the parts aren't interchangeable with the first one- When you go to return it, it's a hell of a job to repackage itUnpackaging and assembling this - you can do it in 60-90 minutes. Overall simple. But the first one I ordered shipped with a broken keyboard drawer. Didn't see it til the thing was fully built. Missing screws, the screwholes were stripped, and too much material had been mortised away -- it couldn't be fixed. I asked the manufacturer to ship me a replacement drawer. They can't do that.I then ordered a second desk. I was going to surgically open the box, get out the keyboard drawer, and slide it in to the desk I'd already built. Then return it along with the broken drawer. But the two desks used different suppliers for the drawer tracks and they were different sizes. That plan didn't work.So I went and built the second desk. One of the legs had screwthreads that weren't welded in right so it couldn't be used. And after removing one of the drawers as part of assembly, it just wouldn't go back in no matter what I tried.I was stuck with 2 broken desks. I managed to MacGuyver my way past the track issue on the second one after a few hours of messing with it, using every ounce of brainpower, some packing tape, and cutting my fingertips (ouch!).Between building both, talking to Amazon support and the manufacturer's support, solving all the problems, packaging up one of the desks for return, and disposing of the packaging on the desk I ended up keeping - this has been a 15 hour project. Oof.Overall not a good experience. Simpli Home needs to fix their quality. They could have a good product if they did. But if I had to do it again, I'd just pay more for a preassembled desk from a retailer who will deal with any issues. And get 12 hours of time back with my family.
