I have not had an opportunity to use this item yet but I saw the item in use by a local mechanic and it worked great with good functionality. The mechanic recommended it and I bought one.

I chose this one because it had the heavier cast base and I was happy with what I received. It goes together quickly, but does take a little extra effort to get everything trammed up. You will probably have to shim the 3 bolts that mount the guide to the base, but once that is done it should be smooth sailing. I had originally planned to just install the grinder when I need to use this, but in the end decided to leave it installed and just buy another grinder for hand work. All in all, Im happy that I got this one.

This is by far the most versatile and the one that allows you to use up most of your cutting wheel. Si far, it performs very well.

would have given a 5 but you really have to look close at the instructions, good thing they have an exploded view in there.After all set up this works for small part cuts and squareing off cuts that are not 90Deg,I like it it's mostly metal so seems solid.have not used it a lot but first cuts were 3/4" x 1.5" steel bars, and it did ok.

Previously, I'd purchased the non-sliding model of this cutter, and found it to be very good at cutting band steel and aluminum up to 1-1/2" wide. The sliding model allows me to cut material up to 4.5" wide. Very satisfied.

Solid metal construction and easy to setup. You might want to keep the grinder attached and buy a 2nd grinder for hand cutting/sanding.

Baked on powder coating is good quality screws are still a soft grade steel and I subtract a star for dumbbells quality screws.Directions are poor and hard to follow however the Amazon webpage has a video that quickly installs the pre-assembled parts. Would buy again and be frustrated with the cheap installation instructions, good luck.

Cet achat correspond à mes besoins. Il permet de fixer la meuleuse pour des coupes précises. d'angle,même si cet équipement n'est pas fait pour de gros travaux, il convient sur un coin d'établi, pour un petit atelier.Le carton est arrivé dans les temps, et en bon état et ce malgré la période des fêtes.Les différentes pièces étaient bien protégées, une petite notice était jointe au colis et le montage a été aisé.Rien à dire pour le reste.

Overall this device is expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was made out of metal, when I thought it would be strong plastic. It went together well, and is heavy enough to form its own base, but light enough to move around. The device takes my angle grinder, and suspect would take most or all types which have the 2 threaded holes for the grips. My only gripe was the piece holder, and given marked angles. This is very mechanical, and achieved by very rough sliding metal, and not at all accurate. It would have been better to have a more fixed lever or knurled nut design, where a chosen angle is adjusted more accurately, instead of undoing a bolt and relying on a pointer. When I did this for 45degrees, it was not accurate at all. As just a mechanical holder, I would have liked to pay slightly less, but I do like the slider, making it more than just a chop saw

The media could not be loaded.  Das Zusammenbauen ist komplizierter als es sein muss, weil keine richtige Anleitung dabei ist. Mit ein wenig Willen bekommt man das hin.Die Idee, eine Flexhalterung zu konstruieren ist an sich super.Jedoch größtes Manko: Die Führung läuft nicht gerade. Somit kann man nicht auf ganzer Länge schneiden. Siehe Video
