Hands Down THE Best Trap Ever
Hands Down THE best trap ever. Deserving of more than 5 stars. Easy to use and set up and most of all EFFECTIVE. And I did not need to use the glue strips in them or buy more. Worked fine without. We live in the country and mice can just take over if allowed.. getting into your vehicles etc. No more setting up one old fashioned mouse trap to catch one mouse. These traps catch several at a time.

Mouse traps
This trap works great!!!! Placed trap inside my attic in all four corners. Caught a mouse, within a couple days when I went back to look. The glue sheets were very easy to place inside. Especially when discarding. Makes no noise. I like the fact they are pet friendly and kid friendly. I like how you have a clear view to see inside of it. Nice having an option to be humane. But I prefer the glue boards…Highly recommend

Catches mice, but does get stinky
The great thing, from my perspective, is you can catch a number of mice without checking and re-baiting all the time. The mice will be alive and trapped inside, however, so I'm not sure that qualifies as cruelty free, especially if they wind up dying of thirst in there. If they are still alive when you check, you can open the lid carefully just enough for mousey to stick his head out, and then press it closed on his head or neck for a quick kill. Or bring it deep into the woods and let it out, where it will probably get eaten by an owl. It does get stinky if the mouse is living and dying in there, and it is kind of gross to clean. I have purchased more, however, and have put them in house, barn and cars.

Chicken Coop
Extremely satisfied!! Using in our chicken coop. Set 2 traps inside and 1 outside. Nothing after the first night. Second night, nothing in the outside trap but there were 6-8 mice in EACH trap! Yuck!!We moved the 3rd trap inside and we’ll see if we get more tonight!!We’re super happy to have caught so many at one time. No bait, no fuss. Also like the glass top to be able to see inside.

Trap springs are too weak. Mice are able to enter and exit.
We live in a high-altitude desert and have an elderly neighbor who loves feeding the world's birds. Pounds of bird seed = pounds of mice. Over the past 12 years, I've not had any failures with this type of trap (though my old ones are from a different maker). We use them outside around the perimeter of our house and in our garage. I put a dash of peanut butter in the center and either catch a mouse or the peanut butter remains. We never have issues with any other animal (ant, lizard, or other). Unfortunately, with the new traps (these CatchMaster traps purchased through Amazon), I put a dash of peanut butter inside and placed all three around the house. In all three cases, over the course of 2 nights, the peanut butter was gone from each trap but no mice were caught. So all three had a mouse get in, eat the peanut butter and be able to get out! Since we never had a single escape from our previous traps, zero for 3 is unimaginably bad odds. This product simply does not work. The concept does, as my old traps (again, from another maker) did work. But obviously, this company is all about using cheaper and less material to save cost. They reverse-engineered a good product into such a bad product, they now have to include glue traps! If we wanted to catch/kill mice on glue traps, we would have just purchased glue traps! Unbelievable. I wish I had read these reviews first. All 3 traps have been returned.

Good concept, but
The trap is a good concept—-can catch multiple mice at once, easily cleanable, the mice can breathe long enough for you to be able to release them, and it’s easy to open up the top to let the mice out.Unfortunately, it is too small to catch anything other than very tiny mice. The larger mice— not rats, but mice— literally take their little paws and reach into the air holes and pull out the food. You could see where their little paws scooped out the peanut butter and pulled it through the holes. I would like to see them make this concept into a larger product. If that was done, I would definitely give it another try.

Very nice and easy to use
I bought them for my mom to use in her garage. They work so good. I bought some in case I needed them. I didn’t want my cats or grandkids too get to the sticky traps.

So far so good. Easy set up.
I recently started having an issue with mice in our chicken coop. In the past our chickens have eaten the mice and controlled the mouse population on their own. Unfortunately they are no longer eating the mice for some reason. I needed some mouse traps that were covered/enclosed so the chickens, dogs and wild ducks that hang out by the chicken coop aren’t exposed to something unsafe.I set out four of these traps around the outside of our 8’ x 10’ chicken coop. They were very easy to set up. I would suggest that you wear disposable gloves when you are touching and setting out your traps as it keeps your scent off the traps.I had previously caught 4 mice the prior week with a very similar trap by a different brand. The only difference was it didn’t have a clear lid. I didn’t want to have to touch and open the trap each time to check it, so decided to buy these with the clear viewing section in the lid.Note — I have no intention of relocating the mice so I used the sticky glue cardboard that were included and bought some additional sticky glue boards as well. After 24 hours I have caught 2 mice in one of the traps. There are definitely more mice in the chicken coop so will plan to update my review in a few weeks with hopefully more mice being caught.Update:I went out of town for 4 days and checked the trap when I returned home. Caught 3 mice in one trap. Since the traps are by the chicken coop they do get a lot of dirt inside and out with the chickens always scratching the dirt around. This does impact the glue traps as they do get dirt on them. I’m washing the traps and replacing the glue cardboard to hopefully catch some more mice…there’s definitely more mice still running around.
