Can work with connect/etc, but you will need to find flat replacement m3 screws.
These things are great, but they are shipped with caphead m3 screws that hold the chassis together, which stand proud of the sdd enclosure. In order to get this to work with a connect, or other module that lays flush against the back of the ninja V/V+/Ultra, you will need to replace the m3 screws with flatheads that sit flush with the exterior of the ssd enclosure.I used some 5mm length m3 flatheads that I had lying around and they worked fine, but make sure the flatheads are completely flush with the surface of the enclosure, as the tolerances are extremely tight. Depending on the module the short length of the ssd enclosure may cause some inconvenience, but for the connect the ssd enclosure is long enough that I can reach it (I don't think this is true for the cast, so you would need to remove it to access the drive.)Other than that slight inconvenience I have 4 of these and they have all worked flawlessly. The supplied screwdriver appears to be the incorrect size, so you will need a 1.5mm pentalobe bit/driver that you will find in something like an ifixit screwdriver set (or you can find a cheap set on amazon for under ten dollars.)While the initial setup is not "plug and play" the provided directions are clear and none of the steps are difficult. The additional thermal mass of the enclosure along with the thermal tape probably helps keep these modestly cooler than the plastic enclosure, although I haven't done any tests so YMMV. The finish, threading, and overall tolerances all seem to be superb.I highly recommend these along with the usb c adapter that is compatible with windows/mac and it has decent read speeds as well as matching the aesthetic.

Sleek and sturdy
Love it. Sleek and sturdy. My gripe is that the color is slightly off and does not match the red sata adapter from Andycine. Might not bother other people and it isn’t too big of a deal but that’s what I notice about mine.

Awesome
This thing rocks, makes the drive way smaller and is a cool-looking piece of gear in a sea of black metal.

It Works!
The ANDYCINE Lunchbox II works, but the DIY process of removing Samsung memory from other drives can be a little unnerving. ANDYCINE also offers a matching adapter so that this drive can by attached via USB to a computer for data wrangling. I wouldn't bother with the adapter if you already own any other drive adapter that will work with the irregular dimensions of the Lunchbox II. I bought the two of the ANDYCINE adapters thinking they would be useful to keep spares in my travel bags. However, the ANDYCINE USB adapter will not work with standard AtomOS or AtomX drive modules. I'm not sure why, but only the ANDYCINE Lunchbox modules will mount using the ANDYCINE USB adapters. The Lunchbox II will mount on my computer desktop just fine using any brand of USB adapter, however, so long as it is not an enclosure-type design like my G-TECH, which will not accept insertion of the Lunchbox mechanism, at least not without trouble removing the Lunchbox from the G-TECH, which is designed for full size AtomOS drive modules. BTW - the Lunchbox II works, but my tests using Blackmagic Speed Disk Test, show that the ANDYCINE is a bit slower than my AtomX Angelbird drives. This might be a factor if you are using a Ninja or Ninja+ at data rates near the limits of their ratings.

Awesome tool
This is a great option for storage on my atomic ninja. Easy to install and set up. Not worried about dropping it due to its construction. Great value

Nice upgrade
I was using the átomos cages for disks , but thing works great and keep the fan coolers free. So it runs better and not block the air. Also with the reader works perfect. Maybe it’s a little risky to disassemble the drive ( I use a Samsung) but it’s not impossible
