handy to have a round
great piece of kit does the job well just keep the stones well oiled with a light oil not engine oil I found soaking them for 30mins in a old washed out baked beans tin was good but ensure you keep the oil on the bores do not try using this dry or your be up the creek and use a sensible speed on your drill not top speed and just feel the stones gently working for you

Did its job
First time using one, a bit fiddly to operate specially when covered in oil. You're going to make a mess using one of these specially if it springs out of the bore. all in all though it did a good job.

Worth the cost and did the job well.
Decent construction robust enough for small cylinders. Easy to use and did the job without any issues.👍👍

missleading advert
the product is ok, but the advert is missleading I was under the impresion that I was getting a cylinder hone and the three sets of different grade stones which it shows in the picture. I would have gone for a cheaper one if I Id have known that I wasn't getting the extra stones.

Peanut's review of the Draper 25mm -57mm cylinder hone
I bought this adjustable hone for a specific job ,honing a bicycle seat tube to 27.2mm after drilling out a stuck seatpost. It did the job of removing the surface oxidation and drill scratches adequately . It was very easy to set the adjustment and the reduced shank would fit the chuck of any drill. It did need a little oil on the leg adjustment before use .At this price it was worth buying it for just this one job but I've a feeling it will come in handy in the future too.

Did the job easily. The stones in their metal backplates were riveted on though so I don't see how they can be replaced or changed for a different grade without drilling out the rivets. I did not need to so perhaps I missed something.
